Relationship Builders

qwewqewqeHuman beings are naturally social creatures – we crave friendship and positive interactions, just as we do food and water.

So it makes sense that the better our relationships are at work, the happier and more productive we’re going to be.

Good working relationships give us several other benefits: our work is more enjoyable when we have good relationships with those around us.

Also, people are more likely to go along with changes that we want to implement, and we’re more innovative and creative.

Healthy relationships don’t just happen automatically. If you are seeking for a life partner and want a Christ-centered relationships than here are some simple steps:

Do a self-assessment. Take a look at your own spiritual walk with God. God is always more concerned with your own heart than circumstances around you. Do a serious evaluation of your fears, insecurities, life-experiences, and your walk with God.

When your heart is in alignment with God’s heart, beautiful things happen. God looks for a humble heart that is characterized by obedience. When we are obedient to God, we are telling Him we love Him, and He’s first in our lives!

Pray. God knows the desires of your heart. God knows your fears, hopes, and dreams. Be honest with God. There is nothing more powerful than to pray for your life-partner. It’s even more powerful when you pray for them by name.

During the prayer time its critical that you are content with God’s will. Never elevate a person above God. If it’s the right person, they will actually enhance your relationship with God. You have to get to a place where you simply trust God.

Be in the right place. Our environment shapes us more than we realize. If you want to have a God-honoring relationship, then put yourself in God-honoring environments. When your with other people who fear God, it motivates you to walk with God. The church is a great place to do this!
